Two numbers and you have your answer.
Floor area × ceiling height = room volume in cubic metres. That is the number that matters, and it is the number almost no scent retailer asks you for. A 40 m² room with a 5 m villa ceiling is twice the job of a 40 m² apartment room — same floor plan, completely different device.
Worked example
A 6 m × 8 m living room with a 3.2 m ceiling: 6 × 8 = 48 m², × 3.2 = 154 m³. That is comfortably inside Cadence One.

Four things that change the answer
Your AC is fighting you
Gulf buildings run high air-change rates — often 6 to 10 changes an hour in summer, against 2 to 4 in a temperate climate. Scented air is being extracted continuously. If your AC runs hard year-round, size up one tier or place the device in the return air path rather than fighting it from a corner.
Villa vs apartment
Villas have height, stairwells and open volumes that behave like one large space, not several small ones. Measure the whole connected volume, not room by room. Apartments are usually the opposite — doors closed, and each room a separate problem best solved with a Mini.
Ceiling height above 4 m
Scent stratifies. Above roughly 4 m you need placement at occupied height — nobody smells the air at the top of an atrium. This is where a floor unit beats a shelf unit, and where HVAC integration usually wins outright.
Marble and glass vs fabric and rugs
Hard surfaces hold nothing, so scent dissipates fast and evenly. Heavy fabric, majlis seating and rugs absorb and slowly re-release, so a room can smell stronger the next morning than it did at the dose you set. Soft rooms: start one setting lower than the table says.
